Uses For A Wall Of iPads

Today we all know that Ipad is a newly launch product from Macintosh. Is so call the bigger version of iphone or itouch, whatever it is this group of designer which have a concepts of puting up a wall full of ipads. With interactive component involved, ClarkeHopkinsClarke is an Australian architectural design team that has drafted a concept interior space featuring a wall of iPads. The initial concept describes an expansive multi-touch library wall, while other potential uses described include “a giant jigsaw that you can play using multitouch, an interactive aquarium scene, or digital graffiti.” If this was to plant inside a library with iPads on the wall, children can now learn things with interactive way. They can be able to see a very close up animals, plants or even creatures, this is a new way of educating the childrens. Athough their initial plan is to have jigsaw puzzle etc…but i feel that having this walls of iPads they should make full use of it not only in creating games it can also be a good education method. With the iPads function children can now interact with it and learn more things that is beyond just books, they can see the real things moving and not just images. This is some kind of ideas I have in mind if I were to create this.

N Building

N building by Alexander Reeder, this building is located near Tachikawa station amidst a shopping district. Being as the commercial area which billboards is important for information to run this group of designer they uses QR Code as the facade. So people just need to use their mobile phone to read the facades it will shows them up to date shop information and is in real time. I think with this way of showing information is very interactive and yet I do not need to go into the shopping centres to know what is going on inside nor do I need to paste any notices on the billboards or giving out flyers to let people know about the shopping centres. With this the shoppers can have faster access and easier to know what is going on with the shopping centres with the new promotion items etc…I think this is really interesting.

Maptor Projection Map Device

Okay this Maptor projection map device is small and simple to use. How does this product works? Actually you just need to shine it at a wall, floor or even on your hand you can be able to see the map. The best part of it is this device have gps system in it which will detect you actual location, you with this device you wil not need to worry to get lost. This product is small enough for you to bring oversea or use in locally, all you need to do is just hang it on ur neck and bring it around when you are traveling. I think this product is a great help to a lot of my friends where they normally do not know how to travel to the places they wanted to.

Nora an interactive architecture design, designed by students of Architecture & Design, Aalborg University. I must said this design is totally cool, you put this architect out in the field and letting people to explore the areas. From the outside you will see human shadows as if they are investigating somethings inside, this design was presented at the Venice Architecture Biennale as an interactive architecture exploring how advanced architectural computing and sensor technology could attach the individual perception of place to temporary structures acting as agents for urban experiences. With this technologies I already have in mind some ideas on displaying architecture in the public by making them curious and interested to go in and explore what is inside, from the people who is walking pass they will be able to see different shadows to make up a investigation scene. This will be so interesting to slow down singaporean pace as they walk. To take a look things which is around them, think I can put things like different small creatures we see in the field and make into a follow through story to make them follow and explore to get a conclusion out of it. I believe with this it will make a good impact in singapore.

Vital Signs nArchitects

I was searching on Interactive Architecture design and I saw this design which give out information on a museum in ”Liberty Science Center”. After reading the description on this product I get to understand how it is interactive. Visitors can dynamically select topics or upload information from various points along the mezanine handrails and the continuous and permeable moebius strip of LEDs interspersed with projections would allow visitors to view streaming information from all sides of the atrium. I think this is a new way of projecting information to the visitor or user I would say. I’m now imaging that if this product can put into any shopping centres or museum in singapore and show the shoppers or visitor the information on the promotions items or the directory, it will be a great way of marketing and giving out information.

Removable Kitchen Sink

Looking at this product it is a sink but a removable sink. So now you can wash your plates or even cut your vegetables, but that is not the end of it you can make use of the used water and recycle it by removing it and bring it to your flower or plant to water it. But I feel that this design did not consider for those who is younger or older, because if it will be removable how about those which is older they do not have the strength to remove it and as for the younger one they can remove it and play. If you were to place a knife inside that will defnitely cost a danger to them. I look at the materials they used is a plastic I guess, but can this product sustain? And can it take hot water? So this is some concern I have with this product.

Shower Octopus

I think this is a very simple design where it will be a great help to many of us when we are camping out out in the field. When we are showering we will certainly face a problem which is where to place my shower bottles? Well I personally experience this lots of time when I’m out in the chalet or camping. I saw this product I was like wow fantastic because this will be a great help to me and I believe many others as well, this shower octopus don’t swim but it helps you to hold your shower bottle. So now when you are out oversea, camping or chalet you can bring it along with you. Is very convience and kinda cute.

Clean Start

This washing machine it looks very normal to me at first, but after reading the description I find that it was kinda helpful in terms on our human body. This Panasonic’s tilted drum washing machines and driers have been designed to reduce awkward bending and reaching actions. They also have large control panels and two separate filters installed at the front to make cleaning the machine easy. I believe with this two combination washing and drying machines can help a lot of people, the best part of it is that it will reduce the bending and reaching action, this will help the human body to reduce the suffering of backache etc…

Flash Lights

With the current design on flash light, I think that this flash light simple and easy to use. Most of the design now in the market I believe is using a switch to on it or off it, with this new design on flash lights I believe you will have a easier time to on and off it. This product is design for user that have functional disabilities, the designer have design this product for user that is suffering on rheumatic diseases. The designer is focusing on three principal aspects: grip, on/off switch and charging.

Sony Remote Control

This is a Sony remote control for television. Looking at this I think this is very convience to use and is much more easier. All you need to do is just to rotate the center and navigate to the spot you want and press it. And the looks is like a apple so you can place it on the table as part of the household design. I think this is great and modern.
